Submission of GAT (General) / HAT / GRE / GMAT Final Result

The scores of GRE (General) / GMAT, should reach NUST by June 2022. Scores of GRE (General) / GMAT examinations conducted on or after August 01, 2019 is acceptable.
Scores of GAT (General) conducted by NTS on or after August 01, 2020 till May 2022 is acceptable.
Special GAT (Gen) test conducted by NTS for other University/Organizations or scholarship will not be considered for admission.
GAT (Gen) score held on or after August 01, 2020 till May 2022 will directly be obtained from NTS Pakistan.
All the candidates to ensure to write their correct CNIC No on the NUST Online Admission Application Form of Master Admission and on NTS form, failing which their score may not be verified by NTS.
Score of Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) conducted by HEC in or after March 2021 till May 2022 will also be accepted.
HAT conducted by HEC for admissions in MS Programs will only be accepted.
HAT Test conducted for scholarship will not be accepted for admission in MS Programs.
Candidates, whose final result is awaited, can also apply for Masters admission (2022), provided that they submit their final result before commencement of classes.
Candidates to ensure that the date of completion of terminal degree must be before the enrollment in MS admission / degree.

CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION

Cancellation of Admission

The candidate may cancel his / her admission with full refund of tuition fee within 7 days of date of commencement of Masters program.The candidate may cancel his / her admission with half refund of tuition fee within 15 days of date of commencement of Master program.The candidate has to process his / her admission cancellation on the form available at the link below:-http://www.nust.edu.pk/Pages/Download_Details.aspx?DocID=31&category=Forms
Note :-Admission of a candidate is liable to be cancelled if he / she is found guilty of suppression or misrespresentation of materials facts at any stage. The University can further debar him/ her form seeking admission elsewhere. Other universities in the country will also be informed about the same.The University reserves the right to reject any application for admission without assigning any reason.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Admission

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for international students is the same as for national students.

International students are only eligible for programs at H-12 Campus (Islamabad).

Submission of GRE / GMAT/ Final Result

The scores of GRE (General) / GMAT, should reach NUST by June, 2022. It may be noted that NUST will only accept the scores of GRE (General) / GMAT examinations conducted on or after August 01, 2019.
Candidates, whose final result is awaited, can also apply for Masters admission (2022), provided that they submit their final result before commencement of classes. The candidates are responsible for providing the copy of scores to NUST, on the following address:

Procedure of Admission for International Students

Candidates desirous of seeking admission will register and fill up the online admission form available on NUST web page nust.edu.pk during April 2022.
Candidates will upload their academic certificates and approval letter from Embassy in Islamabad with online admission application.
NUST will scrutinize all the applications and select candidates on merit and eligibility criteria in different disciplines.
Selected candidates will be forwarded joining instructions by NUST.

Clearance

The cases of the international students, finally selected for admission at the NUST constituent Institutions will be processed for clearance for HEC/Foreign Ministry.

International Students have to obtain NOC from their respective Embassy in Pakistan.

Accommodation

Hostel accommodation for the international students is guaranteed.

Tuition fee for the first academic year (two semesters) will be deposited as per selection letter.
Miscellaneous charges will be charged @USD 34/year.
Harvard Business School licensing fee” will be charged to business students (MBA, MS HRM, EMBA, MS Logistics & Supply Chain Management & MS Innovation & Entrepreneurship) @ USD 104/year.
Subsequent, tuition fee will be paid through challan form generated by Finance Directorate, NUST. The structure and schedule of payment will be intimated to the selected candidates.
The security deposit is payable along with the admission processing fee at the time of admission.
Summer Semester fee will be charge @ USD 40 Per credit hour for all programs (less EMBA).

UPDATES ON UG ADMISSIONS

For Candidates of NET-2022

Merit for BS Biotechnology

In view of delayed announcement of HSSC Part II result by different educational boards and to start the classes for BS Biotechnology program in 1st week of Nov 2022, following has been decided by NUST for merit generation:-
- Merit of candidates awaiting FSc Part II result will generate on the basis of FSc Part I result.
- Similarly, merit for O/A level candidates, awaiting A-level equivalence marks will generate on the basis of O-level equivalence marks by assigning 25% weightage.
- Admission granted will be cancelle, if the candidates fail to obtain overall 60% marks in FSc or A-Level equivalence obtained from IBCC.

Aerospace and Avionics Engineering

Female candidates can apply for limited seats in Aerospace and Avionics Engineering programmes offered at CAE Risalpur w.e.f Fall 2022. Female candidates who had appeared in Engineering NET for session 2022 can now opt for Aerospace and Avionics programmes by adding these preferences in online application form after announcement of merit. Option will be available for two days, tentatively in first week of Aug 2022.

BS Tourism and Hospitality Management

A new programme “BS Tourism and Hospitality Management” is starting from Fall 2022.
